Younits.com ships to the United States, and provides Free Shipping on orders over $99.

SALES TAX

Orders delivered in Illinois are taxed at a rate of 9%.

DELIVERY METHODS

FREIGHT

All equipment is delivered by our Freight shipping method. Equipment is heavy and delicate. That's why we put equipment on pallets and deliver by semi-truck. While other retailers might ship a mini split system via UPS because they just barely stay under the weight limit, they and the customer are risking damage to the equipment.

UPS

In Stock Items

Smaller items, such as parts and accessories, ship via UPS. The default method used, if you don't specify any different is, UPS Ground.

Factory Direct

Per our Free Shipping conditions, orders over $99 receive UPS Ground for free. You may choose an expedited UPS delivery option such as 2-day or overnight for an extra fee.

Some UPS shipments may be delivered on Saturday, depending on the method chosen.

Orders less than $99 will be charged for UPS Ground.

Ordering Processing and Shipping

Younits.com ships all orders Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays. Most orders placed before Noon Central Time leave the warehouse the same day or next business day, assuming all items in the order are in stock.

Orders placed after Noon Central Time are therefore shipped within 1 to 2 business days.

Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday usually ship on Monday or Tuesday, in accordance with these cutoff times.

Delivery Time

Freight (semi-truck) delivery time is usually 1 to 3 business days from leaving the warehouse.

UPS delivery time is usually 1 to 5 business days for UPS Ground (see map above). You may choose an expedited delivery option during checkout.

Processing and Shipping Time for Factory Direct Items

A Factory Direct item is one that we do not stock in our warehouse, but can special order from the manufacturer for you.

We do our best to indicate on the product page the estimated delivery time for factory direct special orders. It's usually anywhere from 5 to 10 business days. This is due to us having our processing time, ordering from the manufacturer, plus the manufacturer's processing time.

So while you may have to wait a little longer to receive your part, the plus side is you are getting the part you need. Most of these factory direct items are hard to find and aren't sold anywhere else.

Tracking Numbers

A tracking number will be sent to your e-mail address when it ships via UPS. For Most freight shipments, you will receive an e-mail notifying you that your order has shipped, but won't contain a tracking number. Sometimes we will have the tracking number in time, and will include it in the e-mail. Other times your equipment is already delivered before we receive the tracking number from the trucking company.

We usually won't have tracking numbers for factory direct items. Sometimes we can get them, but it's delayed due to having to follow up with the manufacturer to request it.

Freight Shipping

Equipment is delivered on pallets. All freight shipments are delivered to the driveway, parking lot or loading dock of the delivery address.

If you are there for the delivery, you may ask the driver for a Threshold Delivery; meaning the shipment is brought into the first door of the address by hand truck. The recipient is responsible for moving the product further from the first threshold.

Lift Gate

If your delivery address does not have a loading dock, make sure to request our free Lift Gate service during checkout.

Inspection

For scheduled freight deliveries, please inspect the delivery upon receipt. The delivery driver is required to wait while you inspect it.

Check for any damage to the packaging and the unit or product itself inside the packaging. All freight deliveries are shrink-wrapped, so check to see if the shrink wrap is intact at delivery.

If you notice any damage, you may either specify it on the delivery (BOL) slip before signing for delivery, or you can refuse delivery. If you choose to do this, please contact us as soon as possible on live chat or e-mail us at [email protected].

Once you sign for the delivery, the shipping/trucking company and Younits.com are not responsible for any damages not notated on the BOL. Younits.com is not responsible for any damanges, whether notated on the BOL or not.
